"More disturbance of ferry Baldur in September
We are sorry to announce that more disruption will be for the schedule of ferry Baldur
crossing Breiðafjörður bay in September. We were unable to get our new ferry by the middle
of September like we hoped.
It has taken more time than we estimated to get the conclusion from the government. When
the government has made a decision if we can get the new ferry, which will hopefully be
positive, it will take a few days to finish the paperwork and sail the ferry from Norway to
Iceland. There will be a ferry in Stykkishólmur from the 28
th of September, either the new or
the old one.
Unfortunately Seatours have to honor their agreement and have therefor sent the old ferry
to Westman islands as we said in the announcement 26th of August.
We at Seatours realize that the situation is intolerable for our customers. The management
at the company with the help of lawyers have tried to get the result as soon as possible, but
as we know no chain is stronger than the weakest link.
As said before our ship Særún will sail across Breiðafjörður bay three times per week for the
time being. Særún does unfortunately only take passengers and no cars. Særún will be
sailing on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. If you need any further information please contact
us by e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or tel. +354 433 2254."
Ils remboursent les r&servations faites, mais à savoir en cas de préparation du voyage...
